If your child needs to wear braces, you get up to 1,050 euros of the costs reimbursed with the orthodontics benefit. This benefit is valid once for children and adolescents up to 22 years of age. Plus, you enjoy even more reimbursements if you also have Dentalia Up, the dental insurance offered through Helan. This means braces for your child stay completely affordable.

Sports and fitness are simply fun: for you, your partner and your children. Whether it's yoga, tennis, hockey, Zumba or something else: you receive up to 50 euros per person annually for each enrolment in a sports club or youth association.

Up to 190 euros per child each year for camps, school trips and playground activities. You will be reimbursed 5 euros per day up to a maximum of 40 days for:

• Multi-day activities, such as sports camp, youth association camp or multi-day activities with or without overnight stay of a minimum of two consecutive days.
• Playground activities, school trips and care provision by the school during school holidays of at least 1 day.

Helan applies an annual deductible of 10 euros per beneficiary so the maximum contribution per year can be up to 190 euros.

If your child is sick and you have to work, a professional childminder will help you out. You just pay 3 euros per hour for this for up to ten days per year for each child. Note that this benefit is valid for children aged from 3 months to 14 years. Depending on the region, we work with our partners iMens and Manpower.

Up to 120 euros for psychotherapy each year

Statutory health insurance provides reimbursement for first-line mental healthcare care and for specialised mental healthcare. You still pay only the non-reimbursable amount yourself.

If you are not entitled to reimbursement through statutory health insurance, you will receive a reimbursement of 10 euros per session through Helan, for up to 12 sessions per year.
