Practical questions and answers about your registration

Yes, anyone who lives or works in Belgium is required to join a Belgian health insurance fund. This is necessary in order to count on financial support in the event of illness, an accident or pregnancy. In some cases, it is even necessary to register with a Belgian health insurance fund when applying for a visa.
Once a foreign national employee has completed their membership form, we will assess the file. As soon as everything is in order, they will receive proof of membership digitally. In some cases, they need this for their visa application.
Our account managers are able to support employees in Dutch, French and English. If necessary, we will call on additional language support so everyone feels understood.
Yes. We provide ready-prepared information materials, such as checklists, one-pagers and leaflets explaining how the Belgian healthcare system works, what the benefits of Belgian social insurance are and what assistance is available in the event of illness, pregnancy or an accident. Everything is laid out clearly, in a visually appealing way and in different languages.
