Practical questions and answers
Helan settles the fees or salary of any nurse we hire directly with that nurse. However, the nurse is entitled to charge a co-payment on top of this. This is the personal contribution you pay as a patient, and it is not covered by the health insurance fund. The nurse must inform you whether they charge a co-payment.
For your information: nurses who visit via Helan are always contracted.

Home care offers extra support in those same care situations. This support is non-medical. A caregiver visits you at home to help with personal hygiene, grocery shopping or preparing meals, administrative tasks, or keeping your household running smoothly.

Unless you only need help with hygiene, we will need to see a prescription from your doctor. That way, we can make sure you receive the right medical care tailored to your situation. If needed, we’ll visit you first after your request to discuss your needs and preferences.
