Co-payment for children
Medical costs can be high, even for your child. That’s why you can count on a reimbursement for co-payments when visiting a general practitioner or specialist.
Co-payment reimbursed for children under 7
Is your child under 7 years old? Then Helan Health Insurance reimburses the co-payment for consultations with a general practitioner or specialist. For the first 30 euros, a deductible per child and per calendar year applies.
Send your original certificate to Helan.
Stick an adhesive stamp on your certificate and:
- Drop it in a Helan mailbox near you.
- Or send it by post to Helan Independent Health Insurance, Boomsesteenweg 5 in 2610 Wilrijk.
We will reimburse the co-payment every month.
Every month, we reimburse you the co-payment for all certificates we have registered up to that point.
- You are up to date with your health insurance contributions.
- Only for consultations and services provided by a general practitioner or medical specialist.
- This benefit does not apply to consultations with a dentist, physiotherapist, speech therapist or laboratory tests.
- Your child has not yet reached the age of 7 on the day of the service.
- Your child has an active global medical record with the general practitioner on the day of the service.
- Fee supplements are not eligible for reimbursement.
- This benefit only applies when provided in Belgium.
