€6.50 per day/night
When you use day or night care, Helan Health Insurance provides a reimbursement of €6.50 per day or night, with an annual maximum of €250 per person.
Submit the invoice for the day and/or night care to Helan.
You will receive the invoice from the organisation or provider that delivered the day and/or night care.
Send us the invoice:
- Digitally: via the My Helan app (mobile) or through My Helan (desktop). No sticker is needed – we identify your document through your login.
- By post to Helan Independent Health Insurance, Boomsesteenweg 5, 2610 Wilrijk, including a white sticker. Or drop it in a Helan mailbox near you.
We’ll transfer the amount to your bank account.
- You must be up to date with your health insurance contributions.
- For people with care needs who are not entitled to child benefit or who do not qualify for support from the Growth Package.
- Day care must take place in a recognised day care centre, a recognised day centre or a recognised care hotel. View the overview of recognised day care centres online.
- Night care must take place in a residential setting. Do you receive night care at home from a volunteer? Then you can rely on the benefit home sitting for people with care needs.
- This benefit cannot be combined with the short stay benefit.
