Good to know
Through the My Helan app, you can only request reimbursements for Helan benefits. You still need to send us doctor's notes through the traditional way: drop them, with a sticker on them, in a Helan mailbox in your neighborhood.
If your doctor works with the digital e-attest, you don’t need to do anything. We will receive your note directly forwarded to us.
Easily Access Your Health Insurance File
Through My Helan, you always have access to your personal health insurance file. You can easily track your reimbursements, download certificates, and manage administrative tasks whenever it suits you. Want to give someone else access to your file? You can quickly and securely set that up through My Helan.
Here's how to request a benefit:
- Go to My Helan via the app and select 'request benefit'.
- Choose your benefit, and specify which family member.
- Fill in the details and take a photo of your document.
- Check your details and submit your request via the app.
- Once your reimbursement is processed, you can view it in the app.
Practical questions and answers.
If you receive the message that your account has not been activated yet, the email with the registration link may be in your spam folder. Check your inbox and click on the link in the email to complete your registration.
Do you have another issue with logging in? Note the error message on your screen and contact our customer service at T. 02 218 22 22.
Are you receiving the message that you are already registered? Usually, the issue lies with your login details. Retrieve your username and, if necessary, set a new password:
- Go to the login page of My Helan.
- Click on the 'Forgot username' link.
- You will receive an email with your username.
- Log in with your username.
Then, if needed, click on the 'Forgot password' link and set a new password.

Yes. My Helan is only available for customers of Helan Health Insurance.
If you are not a customer of the health insurance but are with Helan Household Help, there is the Household Help app, which allows you to easily manage and track the planning for your home assistance.
Definitely. Your online health insurance works perfectly on macOS. For an optimal user experience, we recommend installing the latest version of Safari.
Click on 'more' at the bottom right, then go to 'settings'. Here, you can deactivate your online account for My Helan under preferences.
Keep in mind that from then on, you will receive all communication on paper and will no longer receive notifications when reimbursement or replacement income is paid.
