Our daycare centres are licensed by Opgroeien, the Flemish agency for children and families (formerly Kind & Gezin). As a key organisation in Flanders, it monitors the wellbeing of children. We apply the guidelines of Opgroeien consistently, and that shows throughout the way our childcare centres work: from food safety and infrastructure to the training our childcare workers receive. In this way, room for development and wellbeing stays central for your child.

Helan Childcare works together with various partners in education and with local authorities. We run daycare centres for Ghent University, the City of Antwerp, GO! Gemeenschapsonderwijs and the subsidised free education network, among others. We also join forces to look for innovative solutions that benefit your child. For example, we carried out a pilot study on motor development in toddlers, in collaboration with Ghent University and VUB.
