How can we help you?
Our social workers are here to answer questions from, or about, minors with a (suspected) disability. We can help in a number of ways.
- We support you with your file for the care allowance (previously increased child benefit).
- We support you in finding the most suitable aids or home adaptations: from providing information and advice to preparing your file and submitting your application for support via the VAPH.
- We help you apply for a Personal Assistance Budget (PAB), access to day care or a stay in a Multifunctional Centre (MFC).
Would you like personal advice from a customer adviser or social worker?
Good to know
Does your partner, a family member or a neighbour help you with your administration? Or are you in need of care and does an informal carer manage everything for you? Ask your informal carer to register as your contact person. That way, we can quickly move forward with any questions about your file.
What is Integrated Youth Care?
The Integrated Youth Care Decree ensures that young people who need support can more easily find the right help. Support that places the young person at the centre and looks for solutions together with parents and care providers. Within youth care services, a distinction is made between directly accessible youth care and non-directly accessible youth care via the intersectoral access gateway.
