Legal cohabitation
The Crossroads Bank automatically notifies Helan Health Insurance when you are legally cohabiting. Depending on your personal situation, the cohabiting partner will be registered either as a contributor or as a dependent:
- If you both work or receive a replacement income, you must both register as contributors with the health insurance fund.
- If one of you has no or limited income, the health insurance fund can register the partner with insufficient income as a dependent of the partner with the higher professional income.
De facto cohabitation
Are you moving in together without making an official declaration at your local council? If so, please inform Helan Health Insurance yourself.
