€25 for dietary advice or BiometrIQ
Helan Health Insurance Fund offers a reimbursement of 25 euros per calendar year for dietetics and BiometrIQ.

- Digitally: via the My Helan App or Web. No adhesive stamp is needed; we identify your document through your login.
- By post to Helan Independent Health Insurance Fund, Boomsesteenweg 5, 2610 Wilrijk, with a white adhesive stamp. Or drop it in a Helan mailbox near you.
We will transfer the amount to your bank account.
- Your health insurance fund contribution is up to date.
- The dietitian is recognised by the NIHDI or is a medical nutrition specialist. Consult the list of recognised dietitians here.
- This benefit applies to both in-person consultations and teleconsultations.
Statutory reimbursement: care program for children with obesity
The range of reimbursed care programs without personal contribution has been extended to children and young people between 2 and 17 years with obesity.
Starting a personalised care program together with a treating physician and a team of professional healthcare providers increases the chances of better treatment and reduces the risk of relapse.
Your doctor will refer you.
The referral to a dietitian or PMOC (pediatric obesity center) is made by your doctor through a referral letter.
Make an appointment with a dietitian or at a PMOC
- You follow a course of 10 sessions spread over 2 years with a dietitian. Consult the list of dietitians to find a dietitian near you.
- Or you follow a multi-year multidisciplinary care program in a specialised pediatric obesity center (PMOC) in Belgium, in consultation with your treating physician.
- You have a BMI greater than or equal to the 95th percentile. This is determined by the referring physician.
- You are between 2 and 17 years old at the start of the treatment.
- You have a prescription from a doctor.
- You are not admitted to a hospital.

We are happy to make things easier for you. Through the online platform BiometrIQ, as a Helan customer you can very easily find a certified dietitian to book an online consultation with. After the consultation, you will receive the application form to request your Helan benefit of 25 euros. Together, we work on your health. For now and for the future.
