The reimbursement amounts to 12 euros per session, with a maximum of 6 sessions per calendar year per family member. Reimbursements for the different alternative treatment methods can be combined.

Include an additional form for osteopathy.
Attach the certified form from your certified osteopath.
Submit the documents to Helan after 6 treatments.
Submit your reimbursement form, and if applicable the additional form from your osteopath:
- Digitally: via the Helan app or via My Helan. A health insurance stamp is not required, as your document is identified through your login.
- By post to Helan Health Insurance Fund, Boomsesteenweg 5, 2610 Wilrijk, or drop it in a Helan mailbox near you. Don’t forget a postage stamp!
We will transfer the amount to your bank account.
- You are up to date with your health insurance contributions.
- You are entitled to a maximum of 1 reimbursement per day.
- Osteopathy must be performed by a certified osteopath. Request a certified form from your osteopath.
- Acupuncture must be performed by an acupuncturist who is a member of a recognised professional association of acupuncturists.
- Chiropractic care must be performed by a chiropractor who is a member of the BVC or Chiropractic Belgium.
- There is no reimbursement for manual therapy, mesotherapy, reflexology, and shockwave therapy.
- This benefit is only valid when performed in Belgium.

- The osteopath is certified and can provide you with an approved document.
