Regular check-ups at the dentist will give you a beautiful smile. Both children and adults are eligible for reimbursement for dental care at Helan.
Free dental care for anyone under 19
Free basic dental care for children includes oral examinations, removal of tartar, filling or repairing teeth, treating dental nerves, and tooth extractions.
Basic dental care is free for children and young people under 19 years old and is fully reimbursed if the dentist respects the officially agreed rates. Non-contracted dentists may charge an additional cost. This supplement is not reimbursed.
Ask your dentist if they participate in the third-party payment system.
Most dentists use the third-party payment system. In that case, the dentist settles the payment directly with the health insurance fund and you do not have to pay the dentist yourself. Ask your dentist whether they use this system.
Will your dentist provide you with a certificate?
If the dentist does not use the third-party payment system, they will give you a certificate that allows you to request a reimbursement. Send this to Helan and we will take care of the reimbursement.

Statutory reimbursement for those aged 19 and over
From the age of 19, the statutory health insurance also provides reimbursement. This depends on several factors, such as whether you are entitled to the increased health insurance reimbursement, whether your care provider is contracted or not, etc.
Send Helan the dentist's certificate.

We will transfer the amount to your bank account.
