Do you need specialist care? Adapted clothes and equipment can make a big difference. We're happy to reimburse you for these costs.
75 euros reimbursed
A turban or adapted bra for cancer patients, leg supports for ostomy patients, adapted underwear for people suffering from eczema, or protection for a colostomy. Thanks to Helan health insurance, you receive 75 euros per year reimbursed.
Send us the invoice and the one-time reimbursement form.
Please provide us with the invoice and, once only, the reimbursement form, completed by your treating physician.
- Digital: via the My Helan app (mobile) or via My Helan (desktop). No adhesive stamp is required; we identify your document through your login.
- By post to Helan Independent Health Insurance, Boomsesteenweg 5 in 2610 Wilrijk, with a white adhesive stamp. Or drop it in a Helan mailbox near you.
We will transfer the amount to your bank account.
- You are up to date with your health insurance contributions.
- You have received a prescription for adapted clothing or materials from your doctor.
- No reimbursement may be available through the statutory health insurance.
- Only adapted clothing and materials for people suffering from eczema, cancer, burns, Crohn’s disease, ostomy patients, or wheelchair users recognised by the Flemish Social Protection (VSB).
- Adapted materials apply to non-reimbursable bandages.
- This benefit is only valid when provided in Belgium.
