Do you need laser eye surgery or lens implants? Helan will partially reimburse you for the cost of surgical correction of a vision impairment.

Helan Health Insurance reimburses a one-time amount of up to 100 euros per eye for surgical correction of a visual impairment, or for the placement of intraocular lenses, e.g. in the case of cataract.

Download the form for surgical eye correction and have it filled out by the ophthalmologist.
Send the completed form to Helan.
- Digitally: via the Helan app or through My Helan. An adhesive stamp is not needed, we identify your document using your login.
- By post to Helan Health Insurance, Boomsesteenweg 5 in 2610 Wilrijk, with a white adhesive stamp. Or drop it off in a Helan mailbox in your area.
We will transfer the amount to your bank account.
- You are up to date with your health insurance contribution.
- This reimbursement applies once per person.
- The treatment can take place in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, and Luxembourg.
