Request a reimbursement with Dentalia Plus
Ask your dentist for a supporting document for the reimbursement of your dental care costs. This is a form that the RIZIV provides to your dentist. Does your dentist not have this form? Then print this application form and have it completed by your dentist.
Keep your dentist’s invoices safe. Send them to us after they have been paid, together with the supporting document from your dentist. You can do this via My Helan, the My Helan app or a Helan mailbox. We will make sure the reimbursement is quickly transferred to your account.

An answer to your questions
A ceiling applies to all reimbursements. This is a maximum amount that you are reimbursed per membership year. Depending on the type of care, this is an annual ceiling with or without a sub-ceiling.
There is a waiting period of 6 months for preventive and curative care & periodontology, and 12 months for orthodontics, prostheses and implants.
Annual ceiling for preventive and curative dental care and periodontology
- 1st year of membership: 350 euros
- From the 2nd year: 650 euros
- From the 3rd year: 1,250 euros
Annual ceiling for orthodontics, implants, crowns and prostheses
- 1st year of membership: 0 euros
- From the 2nd year: 650 euros
- From the 3rd year: 1,050 euros for orthodontics, prostheses, implants and crowns, and 200 euros for curative and preventive dental care
Yes. If you already have a similar insurance and you switch to Dentalia Plus, the waiting period for your dental insurance is waived. The waiting period is also waived in case of an accident if you need urgent dental care.
No. At the moment, you can only join Dentalia Up. Becoming a customer is quick and easy online. Prefer personal advice? Make an appointment.
This can be done very easily in My Helan. Keep your invoices safe and send them to us after they have been paid, together with your reimbursement request. We will then ensure that the reimbursement is quickly transferred to your account.
You can download the proof of membership immediately via Mijn Helan.
- Select the family members for whom you would like to download a certificate. Only family members who are enrolled in Dentalia Plus can be selected.
- Click on the download button and the certificate of membership will be automatically generated for the family members you have selected.
