Care stay
We believe it’s important that anyone who is ill or in need of care can recover as quickly as possible. A care stay can support this.
Reimbursement for the person recovering and their informal carer
After a hospital stay or intensive treatment, you may choose to continue your recovery in a care facility. In most centres, your partner or informal carer can stay with you.
The reimbursement for a care or recovery stay in a recognised recovery centre is €35 per day for the person recovering. For the informal carer, this is €15 per day.
