How do I request a reimbursement?
Has your hospital stay ended and have you received the hospital invoice in the mail? Then it’s time to arrange your reimbursement request for your hospitalisation insurance.
Are you not insured through Helan but through another insurance company? Then contact your insurer for information about their terms and procedures.
A few months after your admission, you will receive your hospital invoice in the mail. Are you covered by one of our hospitalisation insurance plans? Then apply for your reimbursement!

What support and services can I expect?
It is very likely that you may need some extra help after your hospital stay. Try to arrange as much as possible in advance, so that after your admission you can fully focus on your recovery and rehabilitation.
Home care
During your recovery period after a hospital stay, you may need some extra help at home. Outsource cleaning, ironing, or small errands and focus fully on your recovery.
Care stay in a rehabilitation center
After a hospital admission or intensive treatment, continuing your rehabilitation in a care facility can support your recovery. Submit your application via the social services department of your health insurance fund.
Assistance through your hospitalisation insurance
Through your Hospitalia Care or Hospitalia Plus plan, you can rely on additional support via Hospitalia Assist. They provide, among other things, home help, childcare services, and psychological support.
Home nursing
